Maybe you have been asking yourself, “What happened?  Where have you been?” or maybe not.  Regardless of which, life has been busy!  Like many, December got really busy with a big push up to Christmas.  Trying to get everything prepared so people could experience and sense the presence of God on Christmas Eve.  Then it was vacation… a rest for me and my family (it was great having all the kids home from college for a few weeks).  Next it was the push into the new year… After selling over 40 One Year Bibles, there are now two drop in classes on Wednesdays to come together as a group to learn and share what we have been reading.  It is good to read the Bible together… really!  Finally, over the last two weeks we have had to say, “See you later” to two dear persons in our congregation as they have left this world for the world to come.  The upside was because of their faith in Jesus we are not saying, “Goodbye forever”, but “See you soon.”  So life has been busy.

I also want to let you know that on Sunday’s, starting March 3rd, The History Channel is showing a mini-series on the Bible.  Each Sunday in March, The History Channel will show a two hour presentation on the Bible in story form, starting from the beginning of the Bible to the end on Easter Sunday.  It looks to be very good, and we will be following along each Sunday morning in worship with the topics presented on the mini-series that evening.  I’ll get some more information on the mini-series out to you soon.

Blessings on the journey!
